It was evening. Zuraiz, Durab, Hadid, and
Rehan were sitting in Ayan's room while Ayan was busy packing his stuff.
"Hey, should I pack this blue suit or
not?" Ayan, lost in thought, asked them, but the four of them were staring
at him as if they were about to tear him apart in a minute.
When Ayan didn’t hear any reply, he looked
back and saw them all glaring at him.
"What happened? Why are you all staring
at me like that?" Ayan asked with extreme innocence. Zuraiz, Durab, and
Hadid were moved by his innocence, while Rehan rubbed his face to control his
laughter.
"You fool, you're coming to attend my
wedding, not have your own send-off!" Durab gritted his teeth and pointed
at Ayan's three bags.
"My days aren’t that bad that I'd give
you my send-off, Mr. Crocodile," Ayan retorted, clearly annoyed.
"That's it! How many times have I told
you not to call me Crocodile? One day I'll roast you like a barbecue!"
Durab stood up, grabbing Ayan by the collar.
"That's exactly why you seem like a
crocodile to me," Ayan added fuel to the fire.
"You'll be dead by my hands one day, got
it?" Durab pushed Ayan onto the bed.
"Come on, stop fighting like two
monkeys," Zuraiz said, glaring at both of them.
"I'm not fighting," Ayan quickly
denied.
"Yeah, right. I'm the only one talking,
huh?" Durab glared at Ayan.
"I'm not going to your wedding,"
Ayan turned away, sitting with his back to them.
"Great, now let's focus on pacifying
this madam first. We’ll deal with the rest later," Hadid said, glaring at
Ayan.
"Honestly, with all the experience we've
had calming him down, believe me, we'll easily handle our wives in the future.
Isn't that right, Madam?" Rehan said, gently grabbing Ayan’s chin.
At that, the laughter of Durab, Hadid, and
Zuraiz echoed through the room. Just then, Mahir entered through the door,
shaking his head when he saw Ayan sitting with his face turned away.
"Whose madam has he become today?"
Mahir asked as he sat down with Zuraiz and Hadid.
"Durab's," they all said in unison,
and Ayan turned his face even further away.
"Oh boy, the wife who never agrees has
already humiliated this poor guy in front of his sisters and sisters-in-law.
Why are you making it worse?" Mahir teased, taking a jab at both Durab and
Ayan at the same time.
While Durab glared at him angrily, Ayan
grabbed a pillow and threw it at Mahir.
"I'm not your wife, got it? I can’t even
find a wife for myself, and here you all have made me your wife. If I am your
wife, then you should cover my expenses too! I’m a perfectly fine man!"
Ayan said, fuming.
"My dear, you get upset over every
little thing, just like a wife," Rehan said, throwing an arm over Ayan's
shoulders.
"You'll be the first one to die at my
hands!" Ayan grabbed Rehan by the collar.
"Here we go again," Hadid sighed,
leaning his head back against the couch.
"Forget him. Tell me, why aren't you
coming? Take Hoor with you. She can enjoy with Amna, Noor, Jaza, and
Sawera," Durab said, throwing Ayan’s blue shirt toward Mahir.
"Man, I would have brought Hoor, but I
have to take her to the doctor today," Mahir explained his situation.
"This is what happens after marriage.
All the work revolves around your wife. You can only go when she says, and if
she’s feeling unwell, you’re stuck eating bland food with her. Take it as
advice," Rehan said, looking at Durab.
, Hadid, Ayan, Zuraiz, and Durab were staring
at Rehan as if they couldn’t believe their ears.
"What?" Rehan asked, surprised as
he noticed everyone looking at him.
"You seem to have a lot of experience.
Did you secretly get married or something?" Zuraiz asked, giving him a
suspicious look.
"I'm starting to get suspicious,"
Hadid said, glaring at Rehan.
"I’m certain. He’s barely around these
days. Who knows, maybe he's already tied the knot," Mahir added, looking
at Rehan with narrowed eyes.
"Come on, tell us the truth. What are
you hiding?" Durab raised an eyebrow, staring at him intently.
Poor Rehan was now regretting his words.
"Just tell them the truth, man. There’s
no point in hiding it. Getting married isn’t a crime. I know you’ve had at
least fifty breakups before, and after fifty breakups, getting married is only
natural, right? Don’t be shy now, just admit it—heck, you might even have four
kids by now!" Ayan said, patting Rehan on the shoulder to encourage him.
After hearing Ayan's words, Rehan's eyes
nearly popped out of his head. He couldn’t understand which fifty breakups Ayan
was talking about or how he supposedly had four kids. Rehan was completely
bewildered.
"Yeah, and who's the mother of those
four kids?" Rehan said sarcastically, clearly annoyed. Hadid, who had been
drinking water, nearly spit it out in response to Rehan’s comeback, while the
others struggled to hold back their laughter.
"Get lost!" Ayan pushed Rehan away
from him.
"Who asked you to talk nonsense? Where
did you come up with these fifty breakups and four kids? Astaghfirullah!"
Rehan said, raising his hands in a gesture of repentance.
"Just admit it already. How long are you
going to hide the truth?" Ayan said, winking at him.
"What nonsense are you talking about?
There's nothing like that... Liar!" Rehan glared at Ayan, regretting the
moment he had spoken.
"Fine, I'll just tell your mom. Then
it'll be between you and her," Ayan said, smirking at Rehan.
"Oh, you’re dead! Just wait!" Rehan
lunged toward Ayan.
And now, like two monkeys, they were running
around the room, from one corner to the other, turning the place into a
complete mess. After much effort, the other four managed to stop them, pack
Ayan's things, and clean up the room before finally leaving.

Around nine o'clock, the five of them entered
Durab's house one after the other. It was dinner time, and Durab had already
informed his family that Zuraiz, Hadid, Rehan, and Ayan would be coming with
him.
As they all entered together, Roha Begum and
Amal Begum, who were busy in the kitchen, came out to greet them. Meanwhile,
Amna, Jaza, and Sawera were busy arranging the drawing room.
"How are you, kids?" Roha Begum and
Amal Begum asked as they approached the living room. They hadn’t seen Hadid in
a long time.
"We’re all good, Aunty," Ayan and
Rehan said as they hugged Amal Begum and Roha Begum.
"And how are you, Hadid?" After
kissing Ayan and Rehan on the forehead, they hugged Hadid warmly.
"I'm standing right in front of you. How
do I look, beautiful ladies?" Hadid said while hugging them.
Amal Begum and Roha Begum smiled in response.
"We’re here too, by the way," Durab
said, stepping forward to remind them of his and Zuraiz’s presence.
"Step aside, let us meet our most wanted
son first," both Amal Begum and Roha Begum said simultaneously, leaving
Durab staring at them in disbelief.
They embraced Zuraiz, who flashed a
mischievous smile at Durab while the others tried to hold back their laughter.
"Looks like even in your own house,
you're not respected, groom-to-be," Ayan and Rehan teased.
Meanwhile, Hadid, Zuraiz, Roha Begum, and
Amal Begum struggled to control their laughter.
"And who exactly do you two think you
are?" Durab said, glaring at Ayan and Rehan from head to toe in
irritation.
"Alright, alright, don’t start fighting
now. Your rooms are ready. Go freshen up. By the way, Durab, why didn’t you
bring Mahir and Hoor along?" Roha Begum intervened before a fight could
break out, directing them all to their rooms.
"Aunty, Hoor had a doctor’s appointment,
so Mahir couldn’t come either. But they’ll both be here by tomorrow," Ayan
quickly explained before Durab could say anything.
Now, all of them headed to their rooms,
unaware that they were being watched by their enemies.
************
Jaza, Amna, and Sawera stood in the dining
room, watching everyone as they headed to their rooms.
"Hmmm, so brother has brought his
army," Amna remarked as she observed them.
"We should make sure not to lack in
serving our guests," Jaza said with a smile on her face.
"The real fun is about to begin,"
Sawera added as she joined Jaza and Amna.
The three of them stood there, smiling, but
little did anyone know, that smile was about to become a warning bell for some.
A little while later, dinner was served, and
everyone gathered at the table. As they settled down, Sawera, Jaza, and Amna
emerged from the kitchen. Rehan’s eyes immediately landed on Sawera. That
delicate, innocent girl with her slightly puffed cheeks seemed to capture his
heart. He couldn't take his eyes off her, almost forgetting to blink, until
Hadid, sitting next to him, nudged him with his elbow.
"Bro, look away. Do you want to get hit
before eating dinner?" Hadid whispered near Rehan’s ear.
Rehan snapped out of his trance, trying to
cover his awkwardness by glaring at Hadid.
Meanwhile, poor Ayan kept his head down,
trying to stay unnoticed because Durab was seated right next to him, and Amna
stood right in front of him.
"Oh, what a fate I have. The crocodile
is sitting beside me, and his sister is standing in front of me. I can't even
sneak a glance," Ayan muttered so softly that even Durab, sitting beside
him, couldn’t hear.
Zuraiz, seated with Kamran Sahib, was
struggling to control himself from glancing at Jaza. He knew that if he looked
up, his heart would insist on keeping his gaze fixed on her. But how could one
resist the presence of their enemy and not look? Even the best of men falter in
matters of love. Zuraiz, who had never before cast his eyes upon any girl,
found his heart relentlessly urging him to look at Jaza. In the battle between
his mind and heart, the heart won, and Zuraiz’s blue eyes turned toward Jaza.
At that moment, she seemed so beautiful that his heart ached with a desire to
hide her away. Zuraiz’s eyes refused to leave Jaza, but he snapped back to
reality when he heard her voice.
"Okay, Aunty, now you all eat. We three
will take Noor’s food up to her room," Jaza said nonchalantly, casting a
sidelong glance at Durab. Hearing this, Durab's ears perked up.
"If you need anything, let me know, and
I’ll send it to your room," Roha Begum said kindly to Jaza.
"Why aren’t these people eating with
everyone?" Durab questioned, unable to digest their behavior.
"Actually, it’s because of your and
Noor’s modesty, Durab Bhai," Sawera said, putting on an innocent
expression. Rehan heard her words clearly and saw Durab’s surprised reaction.
"This is wrong," Durab mumbled inexasperation.
"Absolutely not," Amna said firmly.
Ayan watched this carefree beauty who had casually dismissed her brother’s
concern.
"It would be nice to eat together with
everyone," Durab said, trying to persuade them kindly.
"Fine, we’ll eat here," Amna said,
looking at Jaza. "And we’ll take Noor’s food up to her room. Is that
okay?" Jaza asked, glancing at Sawera and Noor, then at Roha and Amal
Begum. Meanwhile, Durab looked on helplessly, while Zuraiz kept his head down,
struggling to suppress his laughter.
The three of them took a tray each and went
up to the room, leaving Durab to eat his meal with frustration.

At that moment, both were at the hospital.
Hoor was feeling very nervous. Mahir had placed his hand on hers.
“Don’t worry, my dear, everything will be
fine,” Mahir reassured her.
“Hmmm…” Hoor managed to nod and only said
this when the doctor entered the room with a file in hand.
“Please sit, both of you,” the female doctor
instructed Mahir and Hoor as they got up, and she took her seat.
“How are you feeling, Mrs. Mahir?” the doctor
asked Hoor in her professional tone.
“Better…” Hoor replied hesitantly.
“Are the reports alright?” Mahir gathered the
courage to ask.
“Yes, absolutely. And now, you might want to
prepare for the arrival of a new member,” the doctor said as she handed the reports
to Mahir, while Mahir and Hoor still couldn’t believe it.
“Doctor, is this…” Hoor began to ask.
“Yes, Mrs. Mahir,” the doctor understood her
concern and reassured her.
“You will need to take good care of Hoor as
she is a bit weak,” the doctor discussed all of Hoor’s reports with Mahir. Soon
after, they left the hospital with the beautiful news.
Mahir was driving, and his happiness was
evident on his face. Hoor sat shyly in the passenger seat. Mahir kept glancing
at Hoor. There was no doubt that he didn’t just love Hoor; he adored her
immensely. Today, this new piece of news had only increased his love and
affection for Hoor.
Meanwhile, Noor still couldn’t believe the
news she had waited so long for. Finally, the good news had been delivered to
her. Her wish had been fulfilled, giving her the feeling of completeness. It
was a testament that prayers are never in vain; they might be answered with
delay, but they are always fulfilled. Empty hands are filled, and empty laps
are filled.
They both returned home smiling. Abiha Begum
and Afzal Sahib were sitting in the TV lounge. Hoor greeted them and went to
her room, while Abiha stopped Mahir.
“How is Hoor, Mahir?” Abiha Begum asked him
immediately.
“I’ll tell you, I’ll tell you…” Mahir said as
he went to the kitchen, and when he came out with a cake that Hoor had baked
that morning, he handed a piece to his mother and then to his father. They both
looked at him in surprise.
“Just tell us already,” Afzal Sahib said,
unable to wait any longer.
“You both are now elders,” Mahir said, trying
to hide his laughter.
“What nonsense is this?” Afzal Sahib glared
at him, while Abiha Begum looked confusedly at Mahir and Afzal Sahib.
“I’m not talking nonsense; you two have
indeed become elders,” Mahir said with a serious expression.
“So, you made us eat cake to tell us we’re
old?” Afzal Sahib was getting agitated.
“Why are you so angry? Do you still want to
consider yourself young at this age? You’ve become old,” Mahir teased, feeling
a strange urge to provoke his father today.
Abiha Begum stifled her laughter at Mahir’s
comment.
“You’ve become old. I’m still younger than
you,” Afzal Sahib said, picking up a shoe.
“Leave it, your bones are old,” Mahir added
fuel to the fire.
“Leave my old bones and tell us the real
news. Otherwise, I won’t hesitate to break your bones,” Afzal Sahib threw the
shoe towards Mahir from a distance.
“Afzal, please be considerate; he’s your
young child,” Abiha Begum scolded him.
“Don’t you see how your young child has made
my blood pressure rise?” Afzal Sahib complained to Abiha Begum.
“They are still children,” Abiha Begum
defended them innocently, and Afzal Sahib was pacified by this defense.
“Mahir, just tell us like a proper human
being what the doctor said about Hoor’s condition,” Abiha Begum glared at
Mahir.
Mahir had hidden his laughter as he said,
“You both are now elders.”
“I’m telling you, Abiha, he’s going to get
quite a thrashing from me. He’s sworn to raise my blood pressure today if he
doesn’t calm down,” Afzal Sahib said, holding the second shoe in his hand.
“Alright, alright, I’ll tell him. Put that
down,” Mahir said as he saw his father holding the second shoe.
“Tell us,” Abiha Begum said, glaring at Mahir
this time.
“You’re both about to become grandparents,”
Mahir told them, looking at both.
Abiha Begum and Afzal Sahib still couldn’t
believe it.
“Are you telling the truth?” Abiha Begum
asked, her eyes filling with tears of joy.
“Yes, Mom, why would I joke about something
like this?” Mahir said, hugging his mother.
Abiha Begum kissed his forehead and
immediately went towards Hoor’s room.
“Where are you going?” Mahir called after
her.
“To my daughter,” she said happily as she
walked ahead.
On the other side, Afzal Sahib stepped
forward and hugged Mahir.
“Congratulations, my son,” he said, kissing
Mahir’s forehead.
“Thank you, Dad,” Mahir hugged him back.
“We’ve really become elders now,” Afzal Sahib
said, looking at Mahir, and both their hearty laughter echoed through the TV
lounge.

“You know, your sisters-in-law are really
dangerous,” Ayan said, lying on Durab’s bed.
“Indeed, they are quite something,” Rehan
said, tangled up in his thoughts with a confused look on his face.
“Not only dangerous but incredibly clever
too,” Hadid shared his opinion.
“And their tongues are quite sharp,” Zuraiz
remembered how Kaisi had a tongue as sharp as a pair of scissors.
“I didn’t ask you all to give your opinions
about them. Tell me how to handle these serpents and get Noor’s attention,”
Durab said, annoyed.
“Why are you so angry? Let’s think about it,”
Hadid said, placing a hand on Durab’s shoulder. “Why don’t we make a deal with
the three of them?” Ayan suggested after some thought.
“There’s merit to that,” Rehan agreed with
Ayan.
“What merit? Go ahead and make a deal with
them if you want. If they don’t knock some sense into both of you, then let me
know. Those three will make a deal with you without you even realizing it,”
Durab said, venting his frustration, while Ayan imitated him at the end. Hadid
and Zuraiz struggled to stifle their laughter, covering their mouths.
“Actually, there’s no harm in trying once,”
Ayan insisted.
“Fine, try it tomorrow morning,” Zuraiz said
instead of Durab.
“We don’t have any issues. What do you think,
Rehan?” Ayan asked, looking at Rehan.
“Absolutely. We’ll make a deal tomorrow. You
all underestimate us. Tomorrow, you’ll see our skills,” Rehan said.
“Yes, yes, we’ll see tomorrow,” Zuraiz said,
getting up from his place. Hadid and Durab also got up.
“So, where are you all going?” Ayan asked,
eyeing the three of them suspiciously.
“To see your match,” Hadid said, hiding his
laughter.
“Don’t go,” Ayan said immediately,
straightening up.
“Single as ever,” Zuraiz and Durab said
together.
Their words were overheard by everyone. Hadid
and Rehan burst into laughter, while Ayan glared at them.
“The day I get married, huh…” Ayan began to
speak when Durab cut him off.
“Son, there hasn’t been a day like that in
this world yet. Sit down peacefully,” Durab said, adding a tease to Ayan.
“You all actually want me to remain single,”
Ayan said angrily.
“We don’t want that. The real issue is that
no one has agreed for you,” Rehan said, placing a comforting hand on Ayan’s
shoulder.
“I’ll break your face, you cursed person.
What do you think of yourself?” Ayan pushed Rehan away.
“Thank God, a whole world dies for my
beauty,” Rehan said, winking at Ayan.
“Let that world poison itself and die,” Ayan
said, getting up from his place.
“Are you both done? Let’s go,” Zuraiz, who
had been watching their bickering, said with irritation.
“Where to?” Ayan and Rehan asked together.
“Bike race,” Zuraiz, Hadid, and Durab said
simultaneously.
The five of them set out on their bikes,
speeding through the streets of Lahore at midnight. They were all exceptional
in their own ways.
Zuraiz’s bike was leading the pack. Whenever
Durab and Hadid came closer, Zuraiz would increase his bike’s speed. Meanwhile,
Ayan and Rehan followed Durab and Hadid. The five of them were as strong as a
solid fist when together. Anyone who tried to collide with them would end up
harming themselves.
**************
“Wow, what a house this is!” Hani, who was
wearing a black jacket and a black mask, said as he looked at a magnificent
house that resembled more of a palace than a regular home.
“Illegitimate wealth looks very beautiful
from afar, but it reveals its true nature up close,” M-Z, who was standing
behind Hani, commented.
“That’s true,” Hani admitted, agreeing with
M-Z.
“Now listen carefully, everyone. According to
the information, the new plan for drug, weapon, and girl smuggling is kept in
this magnificent palace of Imran Laghari,” M-Z said to his team standing before
him.
“How do we get inside and obtain the plan,
M-Z?” Farooq expressed his concern.
“We will first approach the guard standing in
front. We’ll tell him to get permission from Laghari Sahib for us to enter
because the new smuggling plan is being picked up by agents from the Pakistan
Army. If you allow us, we’ll bring them inside. And when Laghari Sahib grants
permission, we’ll go inside, greet him, and ask for the plan. He will give it
to us, and then we’ll leave with it,” Sikandar explained, enunciating each word
carefully.
“This is very simple. Let’s go, what are we
waiting for?” Farooq said as he started to move forward, but M-Z and Sikandar
pulled him back.
“Who selected him for the army? And who sent
him to the Secret Force?” Sikandar lamented Farooq’s lack of foresight.
“My father did,” M-Z replied, irritated.
“What?” Hani was shocked.
“I don’t know who selected him, but since we
were selected, he must have been too. And the biggest mistake might have been
his selection,” M-Z glared at Farooq.
“Now shoot him. Listen carefully. Sikandar
and I will enter from the back, while Hani and Farooq will knock out the guards
and put all the dogs to sleep before coming in. You both will thoroughly search
the lower portion, every room and every corner, while Sikandar and I will
search the upper floors. Keep your ears, mind, and eyes open, and keep your
mouth shut,” M-Z instructed, his last words specifically directed at Farooq.
“By the way, M-Z, what about the security
system?” Sikandar asked.
“I’ve hacked the entire system. Right now,
Amell, Don’s man, is keeping an eye on it. If there’s any problem, he will
inform us immediately.”
“Keep your Bluetooth active and connected,
and stay alert. Let’s go now,” M-Z said as he got up. The others followed suit.
In the darkness of the night, the four of them seemed to merge with the
shadows.
M-Z and Sikandar cautiously made their way to
the back side, carefully scaling the wall. They were now in the large garden of
the opulent mansion. On the other side, Farooq and Hani stood at a distance
from the entrance, carefully positioned against the wall. Farooq jumped in from
one side, while Hani entered from the other. One went left and the other went
right. They quietly approached the guards, and within moments, both guards were
knocked out by pressing a specific nerve.
Moving stealthily, they reached the dogs.
Before the dogs could bark, they took out a small, silent pistol from their
pockets. They aimed the needle of the syringe at the four dogs and injected
them with a sedative. Afterward, they removed the syringe from their bodies.
Their rule was to never kill mute animals but to render them unconscious to
complete their task quietly.
As Farooq and Hani proceeded, they saw
Sikandar and M-Z approaching. Farooq gave them a thumbs-up. The four of them,
moving silently, entered the grand mansion of Imran Laghari.
Everywhere was dark. From the furniture to
the display pieces, everything in the house was a testament to its value. M-Z
and Sikandar quietly moved towards the upper floors, while Farooq and Hani were
searching all the rooms and everything on the lower floors.
“Sikandar, you check all the rooms and
everything on the right side. I’ll take care of the left side. Farooq and Hani,
split up and search each side,” M-Z instructed in a very soft voice. Thanks to
the Bluetooth, everyone understood him easily and split up accordingly.
M-Z opened the first room on the left side.
It was a girl's room, as evidenced by a large picture of a girl in a shoot
skirt and blouse on the bed. Her bob-cut hair was styled to one side in the
picture. Below the picture, a name was written in gold: Leena Laghari. The
frame of the picture was also golden. M-Z barely glanced at the picture and
began searching the room. When he felt a presence on the bed, he moved forward
to see Leena lying in a skin-colored night dress. The dress's neckline was so
deep that it exposed part of her shoulder, and three empty bottles of alcohol
were scattered on the bed. M-Z gave her a disinterested look and continued
searching the room.
He didn’t find anything else, but when he
turned back, his eyes fell on an art book by Leena Laghari, which featured
green eyes. For a moment, M-Z’s gaze lingered on it, but then he forgot about
it.
The deep green eyes, the black mask, the
black cape... the corners of the green eyes were slightly red, as if blood had
been drained.
“Beast...” M-Z muttered involuntarily.
Below this picture was a note:
"Your eyes are so beautiful; how
beautiful must you be yourself. You must be mine. Then, undoubtedly, your
proximity will be available for one night. Leena, who desires, gets what she
wants. You must be mine."
Despite his unwillingness, M-Z's gaze
involuntarily fell on the unconscious form on the bed after reading the note.
“Foolish girl,” M-Z muttered as he exited the
room in frustration.
After quickly checking the remaining rooms
and finding nothing, he returned to the stairs where Sikandar was also arriving
from the opposite side.
“Find anything?” M-Z asked immediately.
“No. What about you?” Sikandar inquired.
“No. Let’s go downstairs and ask the others,”
M-Z said, heading down the stairs.
Farooq and Hani were seen approaching from
the front.
“Did you find anything?” M-Z asked them.
“We’ve checked everywhere—study, rooms,
drawers—everything, but found nothing,” Farooq replied in a weary tone. “Not in
the room, not in the study. So where could it be?”
“Do one thing—check every wall. The plan file
has to be hidden somewhere here,” M-Z said thoughtfully as he moved forward.
As they were checking every wall by tapping,
a secret passage emerged when a wall décor was moved. M-Z signaled to the
others with a nod and entered the passage.
“What a brilliant mind he had,” Hani remarked
as he followed inside.
“He didn’t enter the underworld to sell cheap
goods,” M-Z said. “People like him are meticulous and cautious. They leave
nothing to chance.” He pointed to the map and various other items laid out on
the table.
“Do we need to take all this?” Farooq and
Hani asked in unison.
“Don’t take anything,” M-Z said, pulling out
his phone from his pocket and taking pictures of everything. He then removed a
modern micro-camera from his bag. These cameras, with auto-connect speakers,
could record even the faintest sounds and capture extremely clear pictures and
videos.
He handed some cameras to Farooq and Hani,
and some to Sikandar. Shortly after, they all placed the cameras in the room
with great skill and precision, in places where no one would think to look. M-Z
quickly took out a drive from his bag and connected it.
“Hello Amell, are you there?” M-Z tried to
contact Amell using his Bluetooth.
“Yes, I’m here, M-Z,” Amell responded
immediately.
“I’ve activated the device. Check if all the
cameras are connected,” M-Z said while connecting the device.
“All cameras are connected. Now hurry up and
get out,” Amell instructed as he picked up the laptop.
On the other side, they exited the opulent
house with the same silence with which they had entered. Imran Laghari
continued to sleep soundly, unaware that their plan had been seized by the
army. What M-Z would do next remained unknown to them.

Amal Begum and Roha Begum were preparing
breakfast in the kitchen. Meanwhile, Amna, Jaza, and Sawera were setting the
dining table outside and bringing breakfast trays upstairs for themselves and
Noor. Durab, watching their entire operation, was swallowing his frustration.
When he returned to his room, Ayan said,
“Don’t worry, Rehan and I will handle the deal today.”
“You know, it’s not such a bad idea. Just
join us once,” Rehan said to Hadid, Zuraiz, and Durab.
“Just agree to our plan this one time,” Ayan
said, looking at the three of them. Reluctantly, Durab agreed, and so Hadid and
Zuraiz had to agree as well.
They had no idea how costly their agreement
would be.
Amna Begum, Roha Begum, Amna, Jaza, and
Sawera had been told to take care of the house and Noor while she went to the
market. Meanwhile, the others had just finished breakfast.
“Do we really have to do all this work now?”
Amna said, almost in tears.
“Yes, absolutely,” Jaza said with
resignation.
“You both should handle it. I’m just a
child,” Sawera said innocently, while Jaza and Amna stared at her. Noor,
sitting nearby, laughed.
“Don’t laugh,” Amna said, glaring at Noor.
“Given how much you both are tormenting
Durab, I think it’s only fair that I laugh at your predicament,” Noor said,
grinning at both of them.
“For your kind information, you’re also at
the forefront of this torment,” Jaza said, glaring at Noor.
“Okay, okay, enough talk,” Noor said, swatting
an imaginary fly away from her nose.
****************
She had just woken up. Her head was spinning
continuously. She picked up a glass of water from the side table and took a few
sips. For a while, she sat there staring at the ceiling, as if she was
disillusioned with life, searching for some new hope, feeling that something
was wrong, or feeling regret for something she had done wrong. Lately, she had
been tangled in her own thoughts and countless worries. She pushed her thoughts
aside, got up, and moved towards the window to draw back the curtain. The view
of Dubai's towering buildings greeted her. Suddenly, Lily felt her head
spinning again and quickly sat down on the sofa.
After sitting there for a while, she got up,
changed her clothes, and went to freshen up. She had a flight to America that
evening. After Shahzad left, she had decided to visit her sister who lived in
America. Due to her deteriorating health, she wanted to see a doctor first
before heading to America. Standing in front of the mirror, she began to apply
makeup when her eyes fell on the scar on her lip, which had now faded a little.
She remembered Shahzad raising his hand against her. For a moment, her eyes
became moist, but then she began to prepare herself, suppressing her tears.
It is such a painful moment when you want to
cry, when the tears are eager to come out, but you know you are alone. You have
no one to sympathize with you, no one to wipe your tears. Then you end up
pulling your tears back inside. The tears that are desperate to come out hurt
so much when repressed; it feels like your heart is being cut. At that moment,
you end up crying over your helplessness.
She was in the hospital room when a female
doctor came and sat in front of her.
"Miss Lily, didn’t your husband come
with you?" the doctor asked professionally.
"Husband..." Lily repeated the
word. Shahzad came to mind, but he was not her husband, so she shook her head
in denial.
"No, he is not here," Lily said,
forcing a smile on her face, though her heart was aching.
"Oh, no problem. There is good news for
you and your husband. Both of you are going to be parents," the doctor
said with a smile.
Lily was astonished by the doctor's words.
The doctor continued talking, but Lily could hardly hear her. She was still
processing the initial words the doctor had said.
After a while, she left the hospital with her
file and other belongings. She was still in shock. She silently walked to the
nearby café. Her head was about to burst from thinking about the doctor’s
words. She ordered coffee for herself and continued to ponder how she would
tell Shahzad about this news, how he would react, and whether he would accept
the child and her. Numerous questions were swirling in her mind when a waiter
brought her coffee.
Lily sat quietly, staring at her cup of
coffee, lost in the confusion of her past, present, and future. She took a sip
of her coffee, and feeling disheartened, she got up from her seat and headed
back to the hotel to collect her belongings.
With silent eyes and a sad expression, she
sat at Dubai Airport. She kept lifting her gaze, looking around with hope, but
she didn't know that the person she wanted to see and whom her heart was
eagerly waiting for wasn't there. Her flight time arrived, and soon the plane
was soaring through the sky. After taking one last look at Dubai, she left the
boundaries of the city, unaware of the changes this journey would bring to her
life.
*************
The plane landed in Los Angeles, California,
a city often called the "City of Angels." It is the second most
famous city in the U.S. after New York, known for its beautiful tourist spots.
She exited the airport and hailed a cab. She
hadn’t informed her sister of her arrival; she wanted to surprise her after so
many years. She hadn’t even been able to visit when her sister’s son was born.
Sitting quietly in the cab, she watched the
passing cars, lost in her thoughts as she headed towards her destination. The
cab stopped in front of a beautiful house with a garden full of various
flowers. The houses in this area were mostly similar.
The house she stood in front of was white
with a black roof. She rang the doorbell, and a girl’s voice could be heard
approaching from inside. When the door was opened, the girl stood there in
complete astonishment, as if she couldn't believe her eyes.
"Lilly..."
The girl with golden hair and green eyes said
in surprise.
Lilly stepped forward and hugged Rosina.
"I can't believe you are here in front
of me."
Rosina said tearfully.
"I'm here, trust me."
Lilly replied, placing her lips on Rosina's
cheek.
"I can't tell you how much I miss you. I
have many complaints against you... I hate you, Lilly..."
Rosina hugged her again, crying.
"But I love you, sissy..."
Lilly blinked, looking at her.
"Let's go inside. I have so much to talk
to you about. Oh, I forgot, you’ve traveled a lot. First, eat something and
then rest. After that, we’ll sit and chat, and I’ll introduce you to your
nephew. Let's hurry."
Rosina took Lilly's hand and led her inside,
her joy was boundless. After such a long time, she was reunited with her
sister.
Rosina led Lilly into the house, where a
baby, about a year and a half old, was lying in a baby cot. Lilly released
Rosina’s hand and immediately went over to the baby, lifting him into her arms.
With his red-white complexion, chubby cheeks, soft body, black hair, and large,
shiny black eyes, the baby was very endearing to Lilly. However, when Lilly
looked into his black eyes, she was momentarily reminded of another pair of black
eyes. They seemed familiar to her, but she shook her head and kissed the baby’s
face. The baby started crying from his aunt's affection and stared at her with
his big, dark eyes. Seeing his gaze, Lilly turned her face away and began
kissing him again. Rosina shook her head, watching Lilly’s efforts to calm the
baby. She put the baby back into the cot and sat with Rosina on the couch. They
had so much to catch up on after all these years. They chatted and smiled,
spending time together.
Both Lilly and Rosina were unaware of the
impending disaster that would soon befall them. They didn’t know if this would
be their last meeting.

"Now tell me, who among you will go to
finalize the deal with them?" They were all gathered in Durab's room when
Hadid spoke.
"Send the ones who proposed the
deal," Zuraiz replied with an air of indifference.
"Alright, both of you go and finalize
the deal," Durab said, picking up a yellow file and tossing it towards
Rehan.
"Listen, you all need to come along.
We’ll finalize the deal together," Ayan addressed everyone.
"Hmm, then let’s go," Durab
immediately stood up.
"You're in a hurry, sir," Rehan
winked at Durab.
"Explain, there’s just one day left
until the wedding, and the groom hasn’t even seen the bride yet," Ayan
added, teasing Durab.
"What can we do, it’s a must,"
Rehan said again.
"Are you both getting up or should I
throw you out of the house?" Durab said with irritation.
The five of them then left the room, but
little did they know that today they would become the sacrificial lambs, facing
the famous and sharp businessman.
On the other side, Jaza, Amna, and Sawera
were in the kitchen, their dupattas tied aside. They were puzzled about what to
do with the housework. Just then, Durab, Zuraiz, Hadid, Ayan, and Rehan entered
the kitchen.
"We need to talk to you three,"
Durab got straight to the point.
"Yes, go ahead," Amna replied,
looking at her brother.
"We came here to finalize a deal,"
Ayan spoke before Durab.
"Deal? What kind of deal?" Amna
asked, confused. Ayan's reaction to her confusion seemed to make his heart race
uncontrollably.
"Yes, what we’re saying is that if you
agree to one of our requests, we’ll agree to one of yours," Rehan
interjected.
"Okay, and what do you want from
us?" Sawera asked, placing her hands on her hips and looking away. Zuraiz,
Hadid, Durab, and Ayan looked at this small troublemaker with surprise.
Meanwhile, Rehan was charmed by Sawera’s attitude.
"Just let Durab meet Noor for a short
while. In return, we will agree to everything you ask," Ayan clarified.
Hearing this, Jaza's face lit up with a specific smile. Zuraiz noticed Jaza’s
smile, which seemed to strike his heart, and he felt a sense of impending
danger from it.
"Whatever you ask, we will do it,"
Jaza confirmed their agreement.
"Yes, absolutely. Whatever you say,
we’ll do it," Ayan and Rehan said in unison.
"Okay, wait. Come with me, girls,"
Jaza said, stepping out of the kitchen with Amna and Sawera following her.
"Where have they gone now?" Ayan
asked, looking at Durab, Zuraiz, and Hadid, while Rehan was still lost in
thoughts of Sawera’s innocent face.
"To arrange our tasks," Zuraiz
said.
The others waited for their return, and the
three of them huddled together, whispering.
"What does Jaza want to do?" Amna
asked.
"A deal," Jaza said with a smile on
her face.
"So, will we arrange for Durab to meet
Noor in return?" Sawera asked, surprised.
"Who said we will let Durab meet Noor?
We will only look after our own interests. They also need to experience some
discomfort so that next time, they will think a hundred times before making a
deal," Jaza said with a feigned innocence.
"So what will we do now?" Amna
asked.
"The housework that we were supposed to
do, you all will do it now," Jaza said, trying to suppress her smile.
Amna and Sawera also began to smile
mischievously. The three of them got up and went back to the kitchen, where the
five of them were still standing.
"Well then, you’ll do whatever we say,
right?" Jaza asked with innocent charm. Zuraiz was particularly taken by
her innocent demeanor.
"Absolutely," Ayan agreed.
"Okay, then our deal is that you will
clean the kitchen, cook, clean the house, wash some clothes, and also clean the
garage. Is that acceptable?" Jaza asked as if she were offering them tea
or water.
The expressions on the faces of the five were
worth seeing at that moment. Durab looked at Ayan as if he might devour him.
“Think it over and let us know calmly,” Jaza
and Amna said together as they headed towards the TV lounge.
“Finally, some peace,” Hadid said as soon as
they left.
“I said from the beginning, it’s a risk,”
Zuraiz shrugged his shoulders.
“So, what do we do now?” Durab asked, looking
at everyone.
“Tell me, what is the punishment we are
receiving?” Hadid snapped.
“For being his friend,” Zuraiz spoke up
before Durab could say anything. Durab just continued to glare at Zuraiz and
Hadid.
“If you want to meet him, then we’ll have to
do this,” Ayan said, looking at Durab.
“Fine, then prove your friendship,” Durab
said, looking at all of them.
“After so many years of friendship, you need
proof now? Should I break your face?” Zuraiz moved forward and grabbed Durab by
his collar.
“Okay, okay, forgive me. Just do this for me
today,” Durab said, looking at Zuraiz with desperation.
“I’m tempted to smash his head for coming up
with this idea,” Hadid glared at Ayan.
In the end, the five had gone to the three
and had completed the deal.
****************
Ayan stood in front of the sink, scrubbing
the dishes with a sponge. When Amna brought out a large pot, she said casually,
“You need to wash this too.”
“Check out the rest of the dishes too,” Ayan
replied with a strained smile. He couldn't say anything to her; the enemy was
right in front of him.
“Okay, wait,” Amna said, and she started
organizing the dishes in the kitchen. Before long, she had stacked a mountain
of dishes in front of Ayan. “Wash all these dishes, okay?” she said before
leaving. Ayan was left staring at the pile of dishes, feeling like crying.
“Damn you, Ayan. What cursed hour did I
decide to come up with this deal?” Ayan cursed himself and started washing the
dishes again.
On the other side, Rahyan was cleaning the TV
lounge and the stairs when Sawera approached him.
“There’s still dirt behind you. Clean it
properly,” Sawera said, as Rahyan was absorbed in his work.
“Where behind?” Rahyan asked, looking at
Sawera in confusion.
“Behind there,” Sawera indicated with her
hand.
When Rahyan turned around, his mouth fell
open. There were wrappers everywhere, even though he had just cleaned the area.
“Clean with your eyes open,” Sawera said with
a smirk and left.
“What cursed hour did I agree to help Ayan?”
Rahyan sighed, lamenting his decision.
“Allah, they are making a mockery of my
dignity,” Rahyan said, looking up in despair
*****************
Hadid was washing the garage outside,
grumbling angrily to himself.
"Who would believe that I am the
right-hand man of the Dubai Don? The whole world knows me as Amil and fears me
because of my terror. And here I am, washing the garage because of these tiny
girls."
"Hadid bhai, wash the garage
properly," Aamna and Sawera said in unison. When Hadid looked up at them,
they were both standing there with innocent expressions.
"Innocent little devils..." Hadid
muttered to himself.
"Hadid bhai, there are also stairs here
that need to be cleaned," Sawera said again.
"Yes, yes, I'm washing," Hadid
replied in a strained, soft tone, while he kept getting angrier at Ayaan.
"Good, good, hurry up. You still need to
prepare the food," Aamna said as she turned to go back inside, followed by
Sawera.
"Indeed, Durab was right. These people
are too sharp. They've made our lives miserable," Hadid lamented.
************
Jaza had been standing for a while, watching
Zuraiz and Durab struggle with washing clothes. They were entangled in the
laundry.
"This is such a hassle," Zuraiz
said, throwing a shirt aside in frustration.
"They've really made a mess of
things," Durab said, wiping the sweat from his forehead.
"Well, you better not complain. After
waiting for so many days, if you could have just endured one more day, you
would have been fine," Zuraiz glared at Durab with anger.
"What have I done?" Durab said
helplessly.
"What's with you?!" Zuraiz snapped,
giving Durab a fierce look.
"Hmm, hmm," Jaza stepped forward to
get their attention. They both turned around and looked at her.
"Look, whatever anger or issue you have,
don’t take it out on these poor clothes. They’ll tear apart," Jaza pointed
to the clothes in their hands, which seemed to be lamenting their fate.
"No, no, we’re not washing them out of
anger," Durab said, forcing a smile to hide his embarrassment.
"Oh, really?" Jaza said, nodding
with a suppressed laugh. She was aware of their grumbling, but chose not to
mention it.
"Well, there are also some curtains I
brought. Please wash those as well," Jaza innocently pointed to the basket
nearby. Seeing the curtains inside, Durab almost collapsed, and Zuraiz looked
on in shock, alternating between the basket and the soapy clothes in his hands.
"How about asking the neighbors if they
need any laundry done too?" Zuraiz sarcastically suggested, looking at
Jaza.
"You think washing clothes is such a fun
job? I had no idea," Jaza said with a sugary tone. "Well, since you
seem so free, why don’t you go around the neighborhood and ask if anyone else
needs their clothes washed and take care of that too? I don’t have enough time
myself, otherwise, I’d have made sure you two did it," she added.
Zuraiz was almost stunned, seeing a girl so
confidently speaking to him, while Durab struggled to hold back his laughter at
Jaza’s response.
"No need for that," Zuraiz snapped,
turning back to the machine and starting to take clothes out.
"Fine, whatever. If you feel like
washing more clothes, do let me know," Jaza said as she walked away,
leaving behind the sound of Durab's laughter.
"You keep laughing, and I'll break all
your teeth before the wedding," Zuraiz warned, shoving Durab aside.
Durab's laughter continued unabated.
"Just let me know when you’re going to
wash the neighbors’ clothes," Durab winked at Zuraiz.
"I'll wash you instead," Zuraiz
said, throwing a bucket of water towards Durab.
Durab laughed even more, and this time, a
faint smile appeared on Zuraiz’s face as well.
"Whatever you say, those girls were a
real piece of work."
****************
Jaza, Amna, and Sawera were sitting in Noor's
room, watching a movie on TV when Noor suddenly remembered something.
"Have you all done the work?" Noor
asked, staring at them.
The three of them had come to the room very
quickly, and Noor couldn't digest this.
"We’ve got the work done," Jaza
started to explain, but Sawera interrupted. Amna and Jaza exchanged frustrated
looks, while Noor observed them with suspicion.
"Who did you get it done by?" Noor
asked, glaring at them.
"Not by anyone in particular," Amna
said, trying to be evasive.
"You’re lying. Tell me the truth, or
I’ll go outside and see for myself," Noor warned, giving Amna and Jaza a
stern look.
"Okay, okay, stop glaring. If nothing
happened, just relax," Jaza tried to calm Noor down.
"I am relaxed. You just tell me what you
did, or I’ll go outside and find out myself," Noor said, placing her hands
on her hips like a warrior.
"Not much, really. We were just trying
to make a deal, and we thought it was our duty to give them a taste of their
own medicine," Amna said, pouting.
"What deal? What duty? Speak plainly.
You locked me in my room and now you're making deals outside? What exactly are
you up to? Tell me now," Noor demanded angrily.
"Your dear fiancé and his friends came
with a deal saying that if we introduce you to them, they will do whatever we
ask. So, they are currently doing the tasks we assigned to them. At least we’ll
find out how well your future husband and brother-in-law manage household
chores," Jaza said dismissively, while Noor stared at her in disbelief.
"Shameless! You should be ashamed of
yourselves. Do you have no decency while making deals with them? And Durab is
making deals to meet me? Do I look like some object?" Noor exploded at the
three of them.
"This is all to teach them a lesson.
We’re not going to let you meet Durab," Jaza said, pulling Noor closer.
"What do you mean?" Noor looked at
Jaza with confusion.
"It means that once they’ve done all the
household chores and cooked the food, we’ll be done with them. We won’t let you
meet them," Jaza explained with a certain flair.
"By the way, you’re making Durab work
too. I’m worried about him," Noor expressed concern.
"Look, they made this deal themselves.
We didn’t hold a gun to their heads," Amna said, making a face.
"And if you care so much, why don’t you
go and cook the food for them?" Jaza glared at Noor, who could only mumble
in response.
************ urdunovelnests
The five of them were now standing in the
kitchen. Their condition was quite a sight.
"What are we going to do about the food
now?" Hadid asked wearily.
"I say we should make those two work
their brains off; at least it would be useful for filling someone's stomach.
Otherwise, their brains are useless," Durab said, glaring at Ayan and
Rayhan.
"Forget it. Even if we make their brains
work, they'll just end up making everyone's stomach upset. Their brains are
third-class," Zuraiz said angrily.
"We didn’t invite you all to come and
make deals with us," Ayan snapped.
"Honestly, someone should take off their
shoe and beat them with it," Hadid fumed.
"I say we should beat them until the
shoe breaks," Zuraiz added angrily.
"Let’s leave the beating for later. For
now, let’s do something about the food," Rayhan said, grimacing.
"Alright, tell me what each of you can
make," Zuraiz asked, looking at everyone.
"I can make a face," Rayhan was the
first to respond.
"And I’ll just break that face,"
Zuraiz retorted, glaring at him. Rayhan looked at the harsh man, mouth open in
disbelief.
"Now listen to me. One person will chop
the vegetables, one will knead the dough and make the bread, one will make the
salad, one will make a curry, and one will make biryani," Durab said,
addressing everyone.
"Good. Hadid, knead the dough and make
the bread; Rayhan, chop the vegetables; Ayan, make the salad; Durab, you’ll
make the curry, and I’ll make the biryani," Zuraiz assigned the tasks.
Hadid then said, "I don’t know how to knead the dough or make the
bread."
"So, what have you been learning all
these years?" Durab asked in surprise.
"I wasn’t sitting here learning
household chores. And I didn’t know your sisters would make us do all this
before your wedding," Hadid replied, annoyed.
"Stop with the taunts," Durab said,
matching Hadid’s tone.
"Stop fighting, both of you,"
Zuraiz’s commanding voice echoed through the kitchen.
"Tell me how to knead the dough,"
Hadid asked Zuraiz.
"Why are you asking me as if I run
cooking classes or am a model housewife?" Zuraiz snapped.
"Then how do I knead the dough?"
Hadid asked, sounding defeated.
"Have you heard of YouTube?" Zuraiz
asked, glaring at him.
"Yes, I’ve heard of it," Hadid replied
with a questioning look.
"Then watch YouTube to see how to knead
dough and make bread. Now get to work," Zuraiz said as he put on his
apron.
Oh tujhaye yaad na meri aye
Kisi sy ab kaya kahana …
Na lagaye dua na lagaye dawai
Oh meri mot hai teri judai..
Kisi sy ab kaya kahanaa…
Oh tujhaye yaad na meri aye
Kisi sy ab kaya kahana…
They all started their respective tasks when
they heard Riyhan's distressed voice.
Zuraiz, who was preparing spices for the
biryani, looked at Durab standing in front of him, who was watching Zuraiz
while placing a pot on the stove. They both then turned to look at Riyhan.
Hadid, who had just set aside the dough, and Ayan, who was taking vegetables
out of the fridge for the salad, also looked at Riyhan in surprise.
Riyhan, completely ignoring everyone, was
chopping onions in front of him with red eyes and a runny nose, crying and
singing at the same time.
Kaya he zamnaye thay..
Tum meraye dewaneye thay
Wah hun hal na pouchaya shudai
Wah teri koi nahi chiti aye ..
"Whose letter haven't you received? And
you're sitting here mourning it. Before he sings any more," Zuraiz and
Durab said.
"I don't know," Rehan said, tears
streaming down his red face as he looked at them. Seeing his condition, Hadid
tried to stifle his laughter, and Ayan glanced at the onions in his hand and
then at Rehan’s state.
Before Zuraiz and Durab could say anything,
Ayan stepped forward and placed the onions he was holding right in front of
Rehan.
"Brother, just keep crying and singing,
and chop these as well," Ayan said as he placed the onions in front of
Rehan.
"You're a despicable person. Instead of
making me stop crying, you’re putting onions in front of me. Go and die of
poison!" Rehan said, pointing the knife at Ayan. Zuraiz then thought for a
moment, smiled, and looked at the two of them.
"By the way, this whole deal idea was
yours, right?" Zuraiz approached Ayan and Rehan.
Ayan and Rehan nodded in agreement.
"Hmm, then Mr. Ayan, you join in too.
Sit here, cry together, and chop the onions," Zuraiz said, placing the
cutting board with onions in front of Ayan. Ayan looked at it with a grimace;
he was already on the verge of tears. Meanwhile, Hadid felt satisfied seeing
their expressions. After all, they were all suffering today because of these
two’s plan. Now he was watching a YouTube video to learn how to knead the
dough.
The situation in the kitchen was such that
Hadid was learning to knead dough from a YouTube video, Durab was preparing the
remaining ingredients for the curry, and Zuraiz was preparing the remaining
ingredients for the biryani. Meanwhile, Ayan and Rehan were crying and singing,
lost in their own world, remembering some love affair as they sang.

When Roha Begum and Amal Begustm arrived home, the house was completely clean, and the aroma of food was wafting from the kitchen.
"I can’t believe it, Jaza, Aamna, and
Sawera have taken such good care of the house, done such a thorough cleaning,
and even cooked the food," Amal Begum said, full of admiration.
"I swear, Amal, I can’t believe it
either," Roha Begum replied, equally thrilled. Now, who would tell them
that it was actually the result of someone else's hard work?
Amal Begum and Roha Begum immediately went to
the kitchen since mealtime was approaching and they had a dholki to prepare for
Durab and Noor.
At the dining table, everyone was gathered.
Aamna, Jaza, and Sawera had emerged from their room, and Roha Begum and Amal
Begum lovingly kissed each of them. The five who had been working hard since
morning stared in astonishment at the scene before them.
"MashaAllah, my dear daughters,"
Amal Begum said, kissing the cheeks of all three.
"Did you know, today our girls did all
the household chores and even cooked the food?" Roha Begum told Kamran
Sahib and Ahsan Sahib, who were sitting with their mouths open in surprise.
"Please let us know how the food turned
out after you eat," the three girls said in unison. Kamran Sahib and Ahsan
Sahib began eating, and they couldn’t help but praise the food, as it was
indeed delicious.
"Why don’t you all eat as well?"
Sawera asked innocently.
The poor souls were forcing themselves to
praise the food they had prepared. Kamran Sahib and Ahsan Sahib took some notes
out of their pockets and handed them to Aamna, Jaza, and Sawera.
At Roha Begum's stern look, Durab also gave
some notes to the three, and soon Zuraiz, Hadid, Rehan, and Ayan had to
contribute as well. The three girls accepted the compliments and money, then
took the food out to the dining area. Just as they were about to leave, Durab
called them back.
"Listen up, you three," Durab said,
stopping them. "You need to fulfill the deal before the dholki."
"Don’t worry, Durab Bhai. The deal will
be fulfilled, and you’ll remember it," Jaza and Aamna said calmly.
"What do you mean?" Durab asked
with a puzzled look, as their words had gone over his head.
"You’ll find out after the meal,"
Aamna said, giving his cheek a playful pinch. The three then headed back
towards their room.
***********urdunovelnests
A considerable amount of time had passed
since they had eaten. He was in his room with Hadid, Zuraiz, Ayan, and Rehan.
"Are you sure they’ll make sure the
three of them meet Noor?" Hadid asked, looking at Durab.
"I hope so," Durab said, gazing at
the ceiling.
Just as he said this, there was a knock on
the door. He quickly got up and went to open it, but the person knocking seemed
faster than him. Not finding anyone at the door, he turned back and noticed a
note that had fallen to the ground. He bent down, picked up the note, and
unfolded it. As he read the note, his expression changed with every line.
Instead of asking him, Zuraiz took the note
from his hand and read it. After reading it, he looked at Durab as if saying,
"What kind of sisters-in-law have you got?"
"What does the note say?" Hadid
asked, irritated.
"Here, take this and read it yourself,
and make sure those two wise ones read it too," Zuraiz handed the note to
him. After Hadid read the note, Zuraiz said, "Those three turned out to be
more clever than you two. They managed to do all the work, received praise, got
rewards, and even played the game."
"I can’t believe it," Durab said.
"You still don’t believe it? It clearly
says: We remember our deal. Insha Allah, on the day of the wedding, you will
meet Noor. And you’re saying you don’t believe it?" Zuraiz glared at
Durab.
"Follow their idea then," Hadid
said.
"My mind went blank. How could I forget
that when they are all together, no one is sharper than them?" Durab said
angrily.
"If you let them win the dholki, I’ll
kill all of you," Durab warned them all.
"We’ll stay away from your
sisters-in-law," Rehan and Ayan said, putting their hands together in a
gesture of surrender. Despite themselves, Durab, Zuraiz, and Hadid burst into
laughter.
"Is there anything else, or have those
two really set their minds on it?" Hadid said with a smile

He had just arrived from the office a little
while ago. His phone was continuously ringing on the bed. It was an
international number.
He got irritated and looked at the screen
when suddenly another call came in. He recognized the number at first glance.
Frown lines appeared on his forehead. He threw the phone back onto the bed and
took a drag from the cigarette he held between his lips.
The phone continued ringing and eventually
went silent, perhaps because the caller hoped that he would not answer.
He put the cigarette back in its place and stood
in front of the mirror in his room. As he closed his dark eyes, the image of a
captivating woman with honey-colored eyes crossed his mind. When he opened his
eyes, his face was grinning with a hint of mischief.

Now, what spectacle was to unfold at
the dholki? Would the five of them be able to match up to the trio of Jaza,
Amna, and Sawera, or would the three outshine them? What’s going to happen next
in the story?
