Ep#3
The three of them entered Sikandar House one
after the other. Zuraiz's bike came in first, followed by Durab's, and lastly,
Ayan arrived.
"Couldn't you two wait for me?" Ayan
took off his helmet and looked angrily at the other two.
"Are you crazy, or do you say these things
on purpose?" Durab glared at him.
"Who stops for anyone during a race? This
time, you can't even say you didn't know it was a race. You always come last,
Mr. Complainer, and then make a fuss," Zuraiz said, patting Ayan's
shoulder.
"Fine, I don't want to talk to you
guys," Ayan said, turning his face away to show his displeasure. In
response, both Durab and Zuraiz kicked him from behind. If there hadn't been a
wall in front of him, Ayan would have fallen to the ground.
Before Ayan could retaliate, they both ran
inside, and Ayan cursed them from behind.
They had just sat down on the sofa when Ayan
appeared again. Before he could say anything, they pulled him onto the sofa
with them. "By the way, congratulations on finalizing your marriage,"
Ayan said.
"Now you remember to congratulate
me?" Durab punched him in the stomach.
The girl who had been crying in her room for a
while stood up immediately at Durab's voice and hurried downstairs.
Just as Ayan was about to respond to Durab, he
noticed Noor coming down the stairs. But what worried all three of them were
her red, swollen eyes from crying.
Noor didn’t greet anyone; she walked straight
up to Durab. "You’re very happy about your marriage being finalized,
aren’t you? Why am I even asking? Your face shows how happy you are," Noor
said to Durab for the first time in this manner. Durab, on the other hand, was
completely confused about what had happened to her.
"Noor, what’s wrong? What have you done to
yourself? What happened?" He was genuinely concerned.
"You’re amazing, Durab. You ruined my
life, left me, and now you’re asking what happened? You didn’t feel any shame
in bringing another woman into our relationship? How could you talk about
marrying someone else?" Noor burst out at Durab, tears flowing freely.
Durab was starting to get a sense of what might
have happened. When he spotted his mischievous sister hiding behind the pillar,
he wanted to pull her ears right there. But first, he needed to calm down the
heartbroken girl who had been crying her heart out for who knows how long.
"Noor, listen to me," he tried to
explain.
"Listen to what? That you’re getting
married this Friday to the girl you talked about today and convinced everyone?
Even Mama and Aunt confirmed it. What’s left for you to say, Durab?" She
pushed him away even further.
After hearing everything she said, Durab wished
he hadn’t gone out before coming home. Why didn’t he meet Noor first?
"Noor, it’s nothing like that. Just listen to me once," he pleaded
desperately, looking at her.
"Guys, can you say something? Noor didn’t
even look at him but turned towards Zuraiz and Ayan. Ayan gave him a look as if
to say, 'Serves you right for mistreating me,' while Zuraiz sat there as if
saying, 'See what happens when you’re careless?'"
"Fine, Durab, be happy. You didn’t do
right by me, and I won’t forgive you," Noor said, turning to leave. Durab
quickly grabbed her hand and said, "Noor, listen to me. I don’t know who
told you what, but I just know that this Friday, it’s my marriage with you. You
can confirm this with Big Uncle and Baba if you want. But please, don’t doubt
my love. I swear it’s the truth." He laid everything out in front of her.
"But Amna, Mama, and Aunt..." Noor
tried to say something.
"Noor, it was all a joke," Amna said,
stepping out from behind the pillar.
Dressed in a black shalwar kameez with a high
ponytail of black hair and a scarf draped over her shoulder, Amna once again
made Ayan's heart skip a beat.
"You were joking?" Noor couldn’t
believe that Amna would joke about something like this.
"Yes, I was joking. You weren’t calming
down, and you kept saying that Bhai doesn’t care about you. So, I thought, why
not have a little fun with it? I even got Mama and Aunt involved in the
joke," Amna confessed the whole truth.
"A joke, huh? Just wait, I’ll show
you!" Noor grabbed a shoe and ran after Amna.
"Bhai, please save me!" Amna called
out to her brother for help.
"No, no, my dear sister, not this time.
Now you and your sister-in-law can handle this on your own. Who told you to joke
around? Now enjoy the consequences," Durab showed her the green light to
face the situation on her own.
"Great, just like you. The girl you’ve
chosen is exactly like you. If you marry her, you’ll both get beaten up
together," Ayan mumbled to himself.
Amna was running ahead while Noor, holding the
shoe, chased her. Both of them ran outside into the lawn. Amna collapsed onto
the grass as if she were falling, and Noor came and lay down beside her. Both
of them were panting.
"You're so mean," Noor complained.
Amna replied, "That was my right."
Noor was the apple of everyone's eye in the
house. And to Amna, she wasn’t just her favorite, but also her best friend, her
sister, and her brother’s love. Noor was the most special person in Amna's
life. If Noor ever got sick, Amna would spend the entire night by her side.
Amna had always longed for a younger sister, and Allah had fulfilled that wish
in the form of Noor.
"I cried a lot, you troublemaker," Noor
complained again.
**********
The three of them were sitting in the office,
working on something. As usual, Zuraiz had a serious expression on his face,
Durab was deep in thought, engrossed in a file, and Ayan was lost in his own
world.
"Hey, can someone tell me how love even
happens?" Ayan asked absentmindedly, still lost in his own thoughts.
Durab, who had been focused on the file,
immediately looked up at Ayan’s question. Zuraiz also lifted his gaze from his
laptop screen to glance at Ayan.
"They say an idle mind is the devil's
workshop," Durab said, staring at Ayan intently.
"Did you ever check if he even has a
mind?" Zuraiz asked, following up on Durab's comment.
"Hmmm, good point," Durab said,
pressing the pen against his lips, his expression indicating that he was
impressed by Zuraiz’s observation.
Ayan, who had been in his own world,
straightened up when he noticed Zuraiz and Durab staring at him. "Here we
go again, they're going to insult me," Ayan muttered under his breath and
stormed out of the office.
"What’s wrong with him now?" Durab
asked Zuraiz.
"Nothing, he’s gone to get coffee. Just
wait, he’ll be back to annoy us soon enough," Zuraiz whispered to Durab.
Durab sighed deeply in response.
"Here, grab one," Ayan returned with
coffee and placed cups in front of Durab and Zuraiz. They each picked up their
cup and looked at Ayan.
Ayan noticed their stares and said,
"Listen, I need to ask you something, especially you, Durab, because
you're the only one who can explain this to me properly. This guy," he
pointed to Zuraiz, "is way too serious. Love is far from anything he knows
about."
"Just say it already, what’s your
issue?" Durab asked, looking at Ayan with questioning eyes.
"Bro, how does love happen? Will you tell
me?" Ayan asked, making a helpless face.
"Don't call a temporary crush 'love,' Ayan
Sahib," Durab joked, brushing off his question.
"It's not a temporary crush, man. I'm
serious," Ayan responded, sounding genuinely desperate.
"Alright, tell us who the girl is?"
Zuraiz asked, practically scanning him with his eyes.
Ayan, feeling flustered under Zuraiz's
scrutinizing gaze, panicked. Whenever Zuraiz looked at him like that, it meant
he had figured out 99% of what Ayan was about to say.
"There’s nothing like that! I’m going
home. Mom called. Bye!" Ayan exclaimed, trying to escape the situation.
As he stood up hastily, his foot got caught in
the chair, and he barely avoided falling. Straightening himself, he rushed
towards the door, quickly glancing back at Zuraiz, who was still staring at
him. Just then, Ayan walked straight into the wall.
Now rubbing his head, he opened the door, only
for it to hit him on the forehead.
"What on earth are you doing? Are youokay?" Durab finally spoke up.
"Yeah, yeah, I’m fine," Ayan mumbled
and then bolted out of the room.
"What’s wrong with him?" Durab asked,
turning his head towards Zuraiz.
"Nothing. Don’t overthink it. Focus on
preparing for your wedding," Zuraiz said, trying to brush it off, but
Durab still seemed a bit caught up in Ayan's odd behavior.
***********
“No, no, listen to me. None of us are going to
wear long frocks because Noor is already wearing a long frock with a sharara
underneath. So, we’ll get ghararas and kurtis made instead. Our dress style
should be different,” Jaza said after listening to Amna’s continuous chatter.
“Fine, we’ll do ghararas, but what about the
color of Noor’s dress? Mama gave me that responsibility as a punishment,” Amna
sighed.
“Well, you deserve that punishment for the
things you’ve done. And listen carefully, when I’m getting henna applied,
you’ll sit next to me and handle everything because, after all, I’m going to be
your one and only sister-in-law,” Noor teased Amna, adding to her list of
punishments.
“And you’re going to do this too? It’s my
brother’s wedding. I need to enjoy it, not just work,” Amna looked helplessly
at Noor.
“You should be grateful that I’m showing you
mercy right now, otherwise I’d make you remember this day forever,” Noor said,
throwing a cushion at Amna’s face.
“Alright, stop fighting, and tell me when we’re
going shopping,” Jaza intervened, trying to stop their playful banter.
“Tomorrow. Mama, Badi Ammi, and your mom are
all going shopping, so why don’t we go with them? What do you say?” Amna
suggested.
“That sounds good. By the way, who’s going to
take us, Durab Bhai or the driver?” Jaza asked slyly, glancing at Noor, who
blushed at the mention of Durab’s name.
“No, Durab Bhai doesn’t have time. He’s busy
with other things, so we’ll go with the driver,” Amna replied, collapsing onto
the sofa.
“You know, I was thinking, since the wedding
isn’t until later, why don’t we make Noor do purdah from Durab Bhai until then?
What do you think?”
Noor liked the mischievous idea and leaned
forward, and soon, Amna, Noor, and Jaza were huddled together, plotting a new
challenge for Durab.
************
"Noor, dear, how do you like this outfit?"
Roha Begum asked, showing her a red-colored lehenga.
"No, Mama, Noor shouldn’t wear red right
now. Otherwise, she won’t glow during the Rukhsati. We’ve decided that for the
Nikah, she’ll wear an off-white long frock with a sharara underneath."
Amna quickly spoke up before Noor could respond.
"Roha Aunty, Noor, Amna, come here! I
found an outfit for you three," Jaza called them over to where she was
standing with Amal Begum and Annam Begum.
Noor instantly fell in love with the off-white
outfit at first glance, and Roha Begum agreed, telling the shopkeeper to pack
it. The outfit was exactly what Noor wanted—a beautiful off-white long frock
with delicate embroidery on the neckline, sleeves, and hem. It had a wide
sharara underneath and a dark maroon dupatta with intricate work on the border
and tiny pearls and sequins scattered across the fabric.
After packing Noor’s Nikah outfit, Amal Begum
said, "Come on, girls. Now pick out your own clothes. We don’t have much
time left."
"Yes, Aunty, we’re starting our shopping
now," Jaza replied, then entered a store with Sawera and Amna to choose
their outfits.
The three of them picked matching designs but
in different colors. After finishing with the jewelry, shoes, and other
accessories, Jaza suddenly remembered that she hadn’t bought a gift for Noor.
"Amna, listen, I’m going to grab a gift
for Noor. You guys go ahead outside, and I’ll catch up with you," she said
before heading to the gift shop.
As they were about to step outside, the sound
of gunfire echoed from inside the mall, and panic ensued as people scrambled to
flee.
"Jaza… Aunty, Jaza is still inside!"
Amna shouted in alarm as they rushed to safety.
"What is she doing inside? I’ll go check
on her!" Annam Begum started moving toward the entrance.
"Annam, please, be sensible! There’s
shooting going on inside!" Roha Begum and Amal Begum tried to stop her.
"My child is in there!" Annam Begum
cried out in desperation.
"Mama, Jaza knows how to protect herself.
You know that," Sawera tried to calm her mother down.
"But, Sawera, she’s inside—"
"Mama, please, how will you go in right
now? Just look, there’s no clear way in! People are running in every direction.
Inshallah, Jaza will be fine. She knows how to protect herself, Mama."
Sawera cut off her mother’s plea, once again trying to prevent her from heading
inside.
"Oh, Allah, please protect my
child..." Annam Begum whispered a heartfelt prayer, trembling with worry.
************
Jaza, who had gone to the gift shop to buy a
present for Noor, stepped out after hearing the commotion. Seeing people
running in panic, her thoughts immediately went to her mother, Amal Begum, Roha
Begum, Sawera, Amna, and Noor. She had just started running toward them when
gunfire erupted again from behind her. Before she could turn to see what was
happening, someone grabbed her arm and pulled her aside.
Her back was pressed against a wall, and in
front of her stood a man wearing a black cap and jacket. He had opened his
mouth to speak, but before he could utter a word, he quickly placed his hand
over her mouth.
"Shhh... Not a sound, understand?" he
whispered softly.
Before he could say more, the sound of
approaching footsteps grew louder. He instantly pulled Jaza closer by her
waist, turning away from the oncoming threat. The sudden closeness caused
Jaza’s hands to land on his chest, one of them resting right over his heart. In
that moment, green eyes locked onto her face, and Jaza froze for a second. She
could feel his heartbeat clearly, as if it had just started beating for the
first time. Her own heart raced, and as she sensed his intense gaze, she looked
up, only to find his piercing green eyes staring right at her.
Suddenly, she became aware of someone behind
her. The green-eyed man didn’t take his gaze off her honey-colored eyes, his
grip on her waist tightening. He then raised the gun in his other hand, aimed
it behind her, and without hesitation, pulled the trigger. The bullet flew
through the air, striking the target directly in the head.
The sound of the gunshot snapped Jaza out of
her daze. She quickly glanced behind the broad figure in front of her to see a
man lying on the ground, blood gushing from a hole in his forehead.
Before Jaza could push him away or make a run
for it, he pressed the gun under her chin, lifting her face slightly to meet
his eyes as he leaned in.
"Listen, beauty. Whatever you saw here, if
you mention it to anyone, the consequences won’t be pretty... Understand?"
he warned, his voice calm but firm.
Jaza firmly pushed the gun away from her chin,
meeting his intense green eyes. "I’m not afraid of you, got that? And I
will never stay silent about a murderer." With that, she pushed him away
and walked past him, leaving the scene behind.
Beast watched her leave and smirked slightly
beneath his mask.
"Attitude... I like that in a girl,"
he muttered softly.
"Beast, are you okay?" Wolf and Leo
arrived just after Jaza had passed by.
"Yeah, let's get out of here. Did you get
all the files?" Beast asked as he signaled them to move.
"Yes, we got all the video files, took
care of all the men, and erased all the camera recordings from today," Leo
informed him.
"Good, now we need to leave quickly,"
Beast said, walking alongside them.
On the other side, as soon as Jaza exited the
mall, she saw Annam Begum crying in a corner. She immediately ran to her mother
and hugged her tightly.
"Are you okay, Jaza? Where did you go? I
was so worried!" Annam Begum clung to her daughter, relieved that she was
safe and sound.
Amal Begum, Roha Begum, Amna, Noor, and Sawera
all sighed in relief as well, their anxiety fading now that Jaza was back
safely.
"Mama, I was in the gift shop upstairs.
Suddenly, I heard gunfire outside, so I hid to protect myself. When things
quieted down, I came out," Jaza explained, subtly changing the story to
ease her mother's worry.
************
"Beast, where are we heading now?"
Leo, who was sitting in the driver's seat, asked. Wolf was seated next to him,
while Beast was in the back seat, holding an iPad and deep in thought.
At Leo's question, Beast looked up.
"Tonight, we'll stay in Lahore. I’ve asked
Rehan to keep an eye on Laghari, Akram, Usman, and their sons' activities. I
need to get all the updates from him and assign him one more task. There are
also some other pending jobs that need to be done," Beast said
thoughtfully.
***********
The car stopped in an old part of the city. A
fifteen-year-old boy with a dusky complexion, curly black hair, brown
intelligent eyes, and a light stubble on his face, could attract anyone's
attention.
"How are you?" he asked as he got
into the car, looking at Beast, Wolf, and Leo.
"Forget about us. How are you?" Beast
directed his attention to him.
"Who taught you to pour oil on the fire?
It seems you're quite familiar with me," the boy replied with a sour
expression.
"Alright, tell us how things are. What's
the latest?" Wolf asked this time.
"I seem like my mother’s pet from any
angle. I don’t know what tasks you keep making me do. This injustice!" He
complained about the harshness he was facing.
"Isn’t this a bit too much, Rehan?"Beast asked, placing a hand on his shoulder.
"I was just joking," Rehan said,
showing his teeth with a grin.
"Now, give me all the information. What
have you found out?" Beast instructed.
"Beast, Laghari is moving to Islamabad
from Lahore. His daughter spends her nights in clubs with her boyfriend. Usman
Sahib and Akram Sahib are currently hiring some men to bring in new girls. On
the other hand, Nawaz and Nuraiz either go to their father's office or spend
all their time in bars or the red-light area. Meanwhile, Shehzad is currently
fixated on his cousin and is looking for opportunities to harm you," Rehan
reported all the details he had gathered.
"Shehzad seems interesting. The audacity
to attempt to harm Beast," Beast commented calmly.
"By the way, who is this cousin he’s
fixated on? Do you know anything about her?" he asked, pondering.
"Yes, I even took a picture when she
slapped him in a restaurant. Let me find it," Rehan said, searching
through his phone.
Moments later, Rehan held up the phone screen
for Beast. In an instant, Beast felt as though he was missing a beat.
"What's her name? What does she do? Where
does she live? Who is her father? Give me all the information," Beastdemanded.
"Her name is Jaza. She recently finished
her ICS exams and has applied to university. She’s very sharp with computers.
She has a sister named Sawera, and they both live in Lahore. And the most
interesting thing is that she’s Alpha's daughter," Rehan provided all the
details to Beast.
"Alpha?" Beast repeated the word.
"Yes, Alpha is a secret agent with the
ISI. It’s still hidden that Alpha is alive, and M-Z is the new Alpha. While M-Z
has become Alpha, the original Alpha is also alive. The only person in Alpha’s
family who knows about his dual role as both a college principal and an agent
is his wife. His daughters only know he’s a skilled fighter, but no one is
aware of the full extent of his secrets. Alpha has been teaching Jaza fighting
skills for a while now, but no one knows why," Rehan explained.
"By the way, how did you manage to find
out all this?" Leo asked.
"Sometimes, connections come in
handy," Rehan winked.
"Very good. If those connected to you find
out what you're doing with these connections, you might find yourself in
trouble," Wolf warned, glaring at Rehan. Rehan simply rolled his eyes.
Only Rehan had the courage to chatter away in
front of these three.
"Keep an eye on this girl. And make sure
to watch Shehzad’s every move. Keep this girl safe from Shehzad, and make sure
he’s never seen near her. Understood?" Beast’s voice and tone had a weight
that made all three men in the car turn to look at him.
"Beast…" Wolf began.
"Shhh. Everything will be revealed in due
time."
Wolf glanced at Leo, while Rehan continued to
look at Beast with uncertainty.
"I think I should be going now,"
Rehan said at last.
"Yes, indeed. And remember, I want updates
on this girl every moment," Beast instructed.
"Should I give today’s update here?"
Rehan asked with a hint of irritation.
"What update?" Wolf and Leo asked in
unison.
"Nothing, just a comment that I’ve had a
close look into your eyes," Rehan said, dismissing the question.
"Anyway, I’m off now." He hurriedly exited the car and began to run
As Rehan hurriedly exited the car and ran off,
Beast continued to stare after him, while Wolf and Leo let out an exasperated
"Oooooh" that echoed throughout the car.
"He's going to drive me insane,"
Beast muttered, looking out of the car.
************
"Jaza, are you okay?" They were all
at Sikandar House at that time. Amal Begum, Roha Begum, and Annam Begum were
worried after the incident at the mall.
"Assalamu Alaikum!" Durab had just
arrived home and stopped when he saw Roha Begum, Amal Begum, and Annam Begum
sitting worriedly. He had probably overheard their conversation and asked,
"What’s the matter? Is everything alright?"
"Yes, son, everything is fine. We just
went shopping today, and on our way back, some people fired shots at the
shopping mall. Jaza was not with us; she was inside the mall. Thank Allah, we
all came back safe and sound," Roha Begum explained.
"Mom, I told you to wait one more day; we
would have taken you all. But you never listen. The country’s situation is very
bad these days. It’s being heard that the mafia is on the move. And thank
Allah, there were no casualties. You all should be a bit cautious when going
out, girls."
He had just explained the situation when
suddenly Amna came up with a new test for her brother. She leaned in and
whispered something into Jaza’s ear. Jaza then whispered the same thing into
Sawera’s ear. The three of them, with sly smiles, looked at Durab, who was
keeping Noor within his sight. Little did he know how troublesome his future
wife’s friends would turn out to be.
"Look well because you won’t see this face
until after the marriage," Amna said as she stood behind Durab and spoke
while leaning in.
"What do you mean, I will only see it
after the marriage?" he asked, looking at Amna in confusion.
"It means, Durab Bhai, there is a veil
between the bride and groom before the marriage, right? So now there will be a
veil between you and Noor," Jaza said as she went over to Noor, lifted one
side of her dupatta, and placed it over her head.
"Durab Bhai, you have just 2 minutes left.
Make the most of it," Sawera said calmly, which completely shattered
Durab’s calm.
"Mom, Big Aunt, Annam Auntie," Durab
pleaded helplessly to the three who were laughing at him being at the mercy of
his future sisters-in-law.
"What can we say? You know best, and so do
your sisters-in-law." The three of them had given him a straight green
signal.
"Amna, you are my sister; you should be on
my side," Durab said helplessly to his sister, who always seemed to enjoy
putting him through trials.
"There’s no doubt I’m your sister, but now
I am also your sister-in-law," Amna said, batting her eyes.
"Jaza, don’t be like this. You’re my best
sister," Durab pleaded with Jaza.
"Brother, I am your good sister, which is
why Noor is still here. Otherwise, I was thinking of taking Noor with me to my
house until the marriage takes place. After all, we have to respect the
veil," Jaza said with such innocence that Durab felt a pang in his heart.
"Sawera, can’t you talk to them? In the
end, Durab looked at Sawera with hopeful eyes."
"Sister, I’ve told them that until the
marriage takes place, we will take special care of Noor’s veil. One of us will
always be with Noor in her room. Because until the marriage takes place, we are
here and won’t leave Noor alone. Isn’t that right?" Sawera said, looking
at Durab with a demand for praise.
"You’ve explained it a bit too well,
Sawera. You should have been a bit gentler," he said helplessly. Durab
hadn’t expected such ruthlessness from Sawera, and he looked at her in
disbelief.
Now his three sisters-in-law had become the
nagging obstacles between him and his future wife. Noor had been covered with a
long veil and was being led to the room.
"They are doing me wrong," Durab
said, looking at Roha Begum, Amal Begum, and Annam Begum.
"Son, may Allah grant you patience. This
is just the beginning. Wait and see what happens next," Roha Begum said,
placing her hand on her son’s shoulder, urging him to be prepared for what’s to
come.
"You will have to face these troubles
alone," Amal Begum said, summoning the last of her courage.
"I won't endure this alone; I also have a
boys' team," Durab said, gathering some courage.
"Congratulations, that means you’ll be
humiliated yourself and make the others suffer too," Annam Begum said
calmly.
Then the laughter of Amal Begum, Roha Begum,
and Annam Begum echoed in the TV lounge.
"Please, don’t be like this with me,"
Durab said, making a pitiful face.
"Alright, alright. Amal, Annam, stop
bothering my son. His sisters are going to make his life even more
difficult," Roha Begum said while trying to control her laughter.
"Mom, just tell me, I’m your own child,
right?" Durab said, seeing his mother siding with these tormentors.
"Yes, yes, you are my own child, but the
one sitting above is even dearer to me," Roha Begum said, waving off the
concern.
"Alright, alright, it’s settled. Now let’s
see how the groom's side fares," Durab said, looking at the closed door of
Noor’s room and then heading toward his own room.
"Now get ready; a new battle is about to
begin every day," Amal Begum said.
"Let’s see how many they can manage,"
Roha Begum offered her opinion.
"Only Allah knows what will happen
now," Annam Begum said with a deep sigh.
*********
He had just come out of the bath, drying his
hair with a towel while sitting on the bed when suddenly his phone rang. He
placed the towel on his shoulder and answered the call.
"Yes, speak up, Nuraiz," Shehzad
said, picking up the call and glancing at the girl sleeping behind him.
"Hey, where have you been? You haven't
been seen since last night," Nuraiz said immediately.
"Why? What trouble has come up?"
Shehzad asked, sounding annoyed, and moved to the side of the bed where the
girl with golden hair was lying.
"There’s no trouble; I’m asking because
there’s a lot of work here, and you’ve disappeared. Where are you?" Nuraiz
continued in the same tone.
"I’m out of Pakistan for a few days, so
please don't bother me right now," Shehzad said, throwing the phone onto
the side table. He then traced his fingers over the girl’s face, who was now
lying on the bed. He leaned down and kissed her neck, which made the girl stir
and open her eyes.
"Too tired now... naaa, stop please,
Shehzad, come on..." she mumbled sleepily.
"Lily, sweetheart, you know me. I don’t
stop until I fulfill my desires," Shehzad said, pulling back from her neck
and looking at her with a soft tone.
Just as he was about to kiss her lips, his
phone rang again.
"I want to kill him..." Shehzad saidangrily.
He glanced at the phone screen and saw it was
Nawaz calling this time.
"Shut up..." he said as he answered
the call.
"Shehzad, just tell me where you are at
the moment," Nawaz asked, keeping his tone gentle.
"I'm in Dubai. Is there a problem with you
people?" Shehzad replied, sounding very annoyed.
"He's in Dubai, Uncle," Nawaz’s voice
came through the phone.
"Who are you telling?" Shehzad
straightened up, and the girl with golden hair also sat up. She was wearing a
maroon-colored nightie, and her light blue eyes showed the disturbance in her
sleep. She rested her head on Shehzad’s arms and traced lines on his shirtless
chest with her fingers.
"Your dad was asking why you haven’t been
answering his calls," Nawaz replied.
"Maybe he called at night, so I didn’t
answer. Anyway, whatever Uncle says, he mentioned that Don has organized a
party tomorrow. You should attend that party and try to find out some
information about Don—any weaknesses, anything at all," Nawaz said,
informing him about the next day. Meanwhile, Shehzad was lost in thought.
"Hmm, meeting Don was something I wanted
to do anyway. It's good that he’s organizing a party himself," Shehzad
said, a cunning smile spreading across his face.
"And yes, none of you should call me again
and bother me, or the outcome won’t be good," he said before hanging up.
He then leaned towards Lily, who was still in his arms. He began to quench his
thirst by placing his lips on Lily’s delicate ones. Lily knew he wouldn’t stop
until he had fulfilled his desires, which is why she had surrendered herself to
him.

Zak, the preparations for tomorrow are all
complete. His right-hand man was standing in front of him.
"Hmm... And where's the prey?" Zak
asked, lighting a cigarette.
"He’s busy making his days and nights
colorful. He came here to meet his girlfriend who has been here for the past
three days," his man provided the information.
"Let him enjoy his colorful nights and
days. I don’t mind," Zak said, pressing the cigarette between his lips and
looking out through the glass wall.
"And where’s Saleem?" he asked.
"Sir, it’s heard that Saleem is planning
to leave Pakistan, but his wife will stay in Pakistan. The relationship between
him and his wife hasn’t been very pleasant for the last two years. His wife has
found out about all his affairs."
"Sounds good. Saleem should come straight
to Dubai from Pakistan. Understand?" Zak said, blowing cigarette smoke
into the air.
"And the invitations for tomorrow's party
have been sent out, right?" he asked, resting his back against the chair.
"Yes, Zak, all have been sent," his
right-hand man confirmed.
"Keep an eye on Shahzad. I know he’ll do
something. I’m eagerly waiting for some action from his side," Zak said,
placing the cigarette back in his mouth.
"Zak, do you want to kill him?" his
man asked.
"He has to die, but he won’t have an easy
death," Zak replied with a chilling smile on his lips.
"I still don’t understand what you intend
to do," his right-hand man said, frustrated.
"You're asking questions as if you don’t
know me. Don’t you realize the game is just beginning?" Zak said, getting
up from the chair, crushing the last bit of his cigarette in the ashtray, and
picking up his coat.
"And you know how I deal with those who
play games with me," he whispered into his man’s ear.
His right-hand man smiled in return.
"Hadid, you must have guessed by now what
I’m planning to do," Zak winked.
"Only God can protect them now," the
golden-eyed Arab prince looked at the ruthless man in front of him, who was his
friend, but often bewildered him.
"By the way, should I arrange a meeting
with Beast for you? What do you think?" Hadid asked as Zak was about to
leave.
"Not necessary for now. I’ll meet him when
needed," Zak smiled after a moment of thought.
He told Hadid to follow him and left the room.
He was very silent, like the silence after
someone’s death, and Hadid knew this silence was going to bring a storm intotheir lives.
